Modelling Sustainable Energy in an Integrate
This project will use the Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resource (HOMER) software package to model energy costs associated with a grid-connected hybrid photovoltaic /fuel cell/battery energy system for a medium sized hospital. The aim of the modelling project will be to deliver a feasibility study for a sustainable healthcare energy ecosystem system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the negative health impacts associated with fuel combustion. The modelling will be optimised with real world data of a multi-generation system for hospitals including hydrogen and associated oxygen production.
