The Louise Brown Memorial Award
Published on the 26 Jul 2012
Louise Odette Brown was an academically gifted young woman with a strong sense of ethics and social purpose and a promising future. In her third year of a combined Law and International Studies degree at UNSW, Louise died tragically in a fire on April 14, 2011 while on exchange in Paris.
The UNSW Faculty of Law have put together a team to run in the City2Surf 12 August, 2012. They're hoping to raise money for The Louise Brown Memorial Award which will provide financial support to one UNSW Law student each year (to undertake an internship with an organisation outside of Australia which actively promotes or protects human rights).
