Kit began his PhD in May 2022 to research Physics-Informed Machine Learning and its application in predicting long-term shoreline variability.

Kit previously attended the University of Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Environmental) and Bachelor of Science. During his degree, he undertook investigations on nonlinear wave formation and conducted his thesis on spontaneous modulation instability and its contribution to rogue wave formation in a water wave tank.

Kit went on to work at RoyalHaskoningDHV where he developed his skills in shoreline prediction, leading to his current interest and PhD topic.
