As an MPhil student at the University of New South Wales, I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and practical industry experience to my research pursuits. With a keen interest in the intersection of sustainable practices and digital technologies within the construction sector, my current focus lies in exploring the implementation of circular economy principles in modern timber construction methods. My journey in academia and industry has equipped me with a diverse skill set, honed through active involvement in various projects. Notably, I played a pivotal role as a Research Assistant in a university initiative aimed at innovating timber construction systems. Within this role, I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating the design of experiments, meticulous data collection, rigorous analysis of results, and pioneering the development and integration of virtual reality simulations for construction processes. My holistic research approach, coupled with a passion for driving sustainable change in the built environment, fuels my aspirations to contribute meaningfully to the field of higher-degree research.
