Michelle is a PhD student in the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies. Her research is supported by a Scientia PhD Scholarship and the ARC Centre of Excellence In Population Ageing Research (CEPAR). She won Third Prize in the 3 Minute Thesis UNSW Business School Faculty Heat and is a recipient of the Sustainable Development Goals Research Grant from the Business School. Her research interests are mortality modelling, socioeconomic inequalities, multimorbidity, healthy ageing, unsupervised machine learning and long term care.
