I completed my Master of Translation Studies at Durham University and my Master of TESOL at UCL. My coursework focused on language skills, language processing, and language acquisition and teaching, providing a strong foundation in the Applied Linguistics. With this background, I gained practical experience through 5 years of teaching English as a second language at secondary school before embarking on my PhD journey.

My current PhD project focuses on bilingual language acquisition and language processing. I am investigating how bilinguals, raised in diverse language environments with varying degrees of language abilities, manage their languages. I aim to leverage these findings to assist bilingual children in acquiring languages and in maintaining their heritage language within community and bilingual programmes.
