Since 2017, Han Xu embarked on a Master's degree program in Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During this period, his research centered on health monitoring of glass facades.
In 2020, he commenced doctoral research at the University of New South Wales, School of Built Environment. His doctoral research primarily focuses on the application of laser point cloud scanning for reconstructing tree models, with a particular emphasis on their utilization in microclimate simulations.
