Angel Sharma
Angel is a PhD candidate in the School of Management & Governance. His research lies in the broad domain of strategic management and incorporates diverse topics such as simple rules, business model innovation, and strategic change, among others. Angel uses novel computational methods such as artificial intelligence and computer-aided text analysis to analyze large volumes of secondary data in his research.
Angel's PhD thesis focuses on business model innovation and integrates temporality, attention, ambivalence, and search literatures. The first two studies use computer-aided text analysis of earnings call transcripts and annual reports of S&P 500 firms between 2004 and 2020, and the third study uses a survey with 266 US-based executives. Angel is in his final year and looking for lecturer position within Australia.
