Amelia Li
About
Amelia Li is a PhD candidate at the School of Information Systems & Technology Management at UNSW Business School. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Business Analytics & Economics) from the University of Sydney, a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Pre-Doctoral Business Studies (Economics) from UNSW Business School.
With a passion for technology and sustainability, Amelia’s research focuses on the role of digital technology in contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various contexts, including the use of social media for crisis response, the ICT implementation in developing regions, and designing for carbon estimation AI systems. She has won the 2023-2024 HDR SDGs research grant at UNSW Business School.
Amelia also worked as a research analyst and economist in the tech industry, with research experience in green technologies and the future of work.
