Synopsis

Mating in many animals is far from peaceful. House mouse males and females impose stress on one another, both directly and through the possibility of infanticide. A variety of opportunities exist to design and conduct experiments to test ideas about mouse sexual conflict.

Aims

To understand how the conflicting interests between females and males impact their lives.

Student benefits

Lab work and animal husbandry experience. You'll learn skills in experimental design and analysis, animal care, and scientific writing.
