Sarah Iwanoczko studied a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Ecology at UNSW BEES and is now a Mammal Trainer at SEA LIFE on the Sunshine Coast.
Sarah is responsible for providing daily healthcare to the resident Australian fur seal, Sub-Antarctic fur seal, long nose fur seals and Australian sea lions. She also assists team members with the overall care of Little Penguins.
Sarah said:
“My day involves regular training sessions that allow myself and other trainers to maintain and provide proactive healthcare, physical fitness and cognitive stimulation. I am also involved in providing several educational presentations and guest interactions. Additionally, I am responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the seal area and life support systems for the seal exhibits."
