Suggested program pathways for the Bachelor of International Public Health (BIPH) and Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) help you to effectively plan the order in which to complete your courses and electives. We've broken down the suggested courses for each term and year of your study, with three different plans depending on which term you commenced the program.
Progression plan
For the full BIPH and BPH program structure, university rules and requirements view the UNSW Handbook.
Student’s intending to enrol in the BIPH or BPH part-time, or converting to/from a full-time load to part-time load are encouraged to contact the Program Director for course progression advice.
For students who have taken ASU courses (not available from 2025): Conversion of ASU grades to UNSW grades - ASU uses a letter grading system (A, B, C, D, F) whereas UNSW uses Fail, Pass, Credit, Distinction and High Distinction. Grades received from ASU courses will be converted to an equivalent UNSW grade that appears on your transcript. The grade conversion table can be found on the PLuS Alliance website.
