Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Explosive Ordnance is designed for postgraduate scholars with appropriate undergraduate qualifications in a relevant cognate discipline and/or extensive professional experience who wish to develop a high-level understanding of the principles and practices of science and engineering related to explosive ordnance systems.

Learning outcomes:

1. Demonstrate disciplinary knowledge and skills, and an ability to apply these in different contexts related to Explosive Ordnance.

2. Analyse critically the construction, function and effects of various Explosive Ordnance systems and subsystems.

3. Apply knowledge and skills with high-level personal autonomy and accountability in the use of explosives and warhead construction.

4. Demonstrate an understanding of international perspectives relevant to the deployment and use of Explosive Ordnance.

The program will only be available to students nominated by the Department of Defence.
