The Clinic provides assessments for cognitive functioning for:

  • Intellectual or Learning Disabilities
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (children must be of school age or have fluent speech).

Note: there will be no more adult neuropsychological assessments scheduled in the clinic until after June 2025. Please note that we will not conduct any psychometric assessments without a third party referral.

For Child Assessments, any referral from a GP requires additional information from the school to support the referral. This may be in the form of a letter from a teacher or school counsellor.

Individuals can refer themselves to the Clinic or be referred by a health professional to receive therapy for the following:

Fees

The Psychology Clinic operates on a fee-for-service basis with fees being used to support the clinical, training and outreach activities of the clinic. The therapy fees provided are for a standard 50-minute session. Fees for adult and child cognitive assessments include interview, test administration, feedback session, and a written report.

We accept credit card payments and concession rates are available with evidence of eligibility and  apply to full-time adult students & holders of government-issued concession cards. Cash and cheque payments will not be accepted. The fee structure varies based on the consulting clinician, as shown in the tables below.
