NDARC’s health economics and biostatistics program conducts policy relevant research to assist and improve decision making and resource allocation in the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sector.
This includes:
- The societal costs and benefits/effects of new treatments, interventions, and policy changes.
- Measuring and valuing treatments and policies.
- The impact of new treatments and policies on costs, health outcomes and quality of life.
