Menghu Xia
Menghu Xia (Tiger) is a PhD student in School of Humanities and Social Sciences at UNSW Canberra (ADFA). He has been awarded a University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA). His research interests include ASEAN regionalism, ASEAN-China relation, Australia-China relation, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Asia-Pacific Politics. His PhD thesis examines the role of ASEAN as regional organization in China's Belt and Road Initiative. From July 2019 to 2020, He worked as the project manager in University of Malaya in an international research project called "Building Social Research Capacities in Higher Education Institutions in Lao PDR and Malaysia", which was under Erasmus+ CBHE and the total funding is over 680,000 Euro. He has a few publications in peer-reviewed journals in English and Chinese and he also speaks some Bahasa Indonesian/Melayu.
