The UNSW Master of Philosophy (MPhil) requires completion of an original piece of research, more limited in scope and nature to that required for a PhD. You’ll develop mastery of appropriate methodology and present your findings in the wider context of your discipline.

Entry Requirements
The minimum requirement for admission to a Master of Philosophy is:
- an appropriate UNSW Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline at a level specified by the Faculty Higher Degree Committee (HDC) or,
- an equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution as determined by the Faculty HDC
