Trustworthy Digital Society
About us
The UNSW-UTS Trustworthy Digital Society brings together experienced voices from both University and Industry with the aim to facilitate the creation of a digitally enabled society that is equitable, inclusive, and sustainable. We work towards a world where everyone can participate fully, safely and confidently in the digital world.
The society’s mission is to serve as a trusted resource for individuals, businesses, and governments seeking to build a more trustworthy digital society. We provide education, training, and tools to help people understand the risks and benefits of digital technologies, and to make informed, responsible and intelligent decisions about their use.
The society is also a centre of innovation, working with researchers, technologists, and policymakers to develop new technologies and practices that prioritise privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
